If you are accepted into the course, you will receive a formal Letter of Offer and a written Student Acceptance Agreement which you will need to complete, sign, and return to Pioneer College. If you are granted a sub-class 500 Student Visa, before arriving in Australia you shall have to obtain the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) from a recognized provider for the whole of your Visa duration. Pioneer can help you in obtaining it. You have the option in your Enrolment Application to request Pioneer to arrange for it. In certain cases, you may be required to complete an LLN (Language, Literacy, Numeracy) test. On receiving your signed Student Acceptance Agreement and your payment confirmation for your Enrolment Fee and
tuition fees (at least for 1 Term) and on instances your positive results of the LNN test, Pioneer College will issue you with your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
Compile all the documents required to lodge your student visa application – you may engage an agent to lodge a visa for you, or you may lodge it yourself in person or online. The processing times may vary so we recommend you lodging your student
visa application as soon as you receive your CoE
Once your student visa is granted, you can start planning your move to Perth. Your Pioneer College Pre-Departure Handbook has lots of good information and links to assist you with your preparations and trip. You will then need to advise us of your flight details – at least
One-Week PRIOR to your expected arrival in Perth.
